Midwifery BSc (Hons)
Third Trimester Sonography (MSc)
Postgraduate Cert. in Science Education
Meet Cat — a midwife with over 12 years’ experience (and a busy mum of two!). She currently supports families on the hospital delivery suite and also works as a Specialist Midwife Sonographer, carrying out third trimester growth scans. Over the years, Cat has worked out in the community attending home births, as well as supporting women and birthing people in hospital through both vaginal and caesarean births.
She’s passionate about birth rights and is dedicated to helping you feel confident, supported, and fully informed when it comes to your care. Cat will guide you through the maternity system, making sure you understand your options and feel empowered to make choices that are right for you and your family without feeling coerced into care you don't want.
Another of her big passions is showing how birth is an active process — all about movement and working with your baby to help them into the best possible position. Cat will teach you how to prepare for birth using simple positions and techniques that help open the pelvis and encourage your baby to move into a good position. So, get your birth balls and yoga mats ready — she’ll show you how to put them to good use!
